Have you ever been to Provincetown, MA?
Updated: Mar 15, 2019
It is a beautiful tiny town right on the tip of Cape Cod with a breathtaking scenery, great restaurants, and a fun inclusive atmosphere.
Surrounded by water, Provincetown is the summer destination of Bostonians who get so tired of the Boston winter that lasts forever. But even in fall in the very end of the season, the second the sun gets out people starts streaming down the streets to enjoy the freshness of the air and the welcoming atmosphere. Even when most of the businesses are closing down until the next summer, the town is still very full with happy wanderers.
A little outside of the city center (which is a 5 minute walk away) there is a jetty that can take you to the beautiful side where you’ll get to enjoy the view of the city from afar, but also a breathtaking view of the ocean. A little cute white lighthouse is like a prize for the hike that you do to get there, so make sure to take a picture! Another bonus is that you’ll get so much fresh air in your system you’ll sleep so well for at least a week after you come back! (It’s almost overwhelming for a city person aka me...).
It is also worth mentioning that it’s the gay Mecca, where almost every bar is LGBT+ themed, almost every store sells pride merch, etc. I checked out a Drag Queen led karaoke and it was so much fun!
